A clan is a foundation for friendship, fun and competition. But where do you begin?

Have you purchased a new game recently, or possibly played one for several years? Are you still playing solo on different public servers, but think you’re ready for the next level, more friends and fun?

If you said yes, then you, my friend, have probably thought about starting your own clan!

In fact, nine out of ten of gamers will say it’s the best way to satisfy your gaming obsession. The only problem is that it isn’t so easy to start a clan, let alone maintain it, especially by yourself! It's easy to see this in action, for there are thousands of clans giving up almost every single day. Many gamers who wanted to start a new clan often hesitated, or put it on the back burner, and so they just walk away.

This is most likely because of the enormous amount of responsibility it takes, and all the effort and time they have to sacrifice to keep up with every aspect of the clans every day activities. The majority of gamers won’t be able to get a clan up and running by themselves, most of the people who do are likely to quickly give up.

Wouldn’t it be good to have someone who assisted you with the process of creating your own clan, and afterwards helped you with any problems which might occur to always keep your clan running as you want it?

The idea of starting a consulting website, for the reason to give clans some much needed help. One day appeared in Robin “-Si|VER-“ Andersson’s head. Since he has always enjoyed helping people, and has been a gamer himself all of his life, he sought to help people who needed a helping hand as much as he could. Since several of his friends were in diminishing clans, he didn’t want to put a price tag on his assistance, so he decided it all should be free.

-Si|VER- knew he couldn’t help many people on his own though, so he began searching for people who might enjoy consulting as well. It did not take long before four more members joined the C-A, with the same motto and attitude…

“We offer a diversity of services to everyone who truly needs our assistance, which means, 'both people who want to start their own clan, and existing clans who aren’t running very well.' Remember though that the time a request may take depends on whether we have time for it or not. We’ll surely help you as much and as fast as we can. The duration of our services depends on your co-operation, since some services need to be more specifically described, as websites need colours, styles and fonts etc.”

So, you should help us out by planning your clans different materials and respective service you’ve submitted for, before you even do a submission, so that the C-A can promptly perform the construction of your future gaming clan.

“As the C-A get more members who are experienced in areas the current crew aren’t, we will of course expand the list of services we can offer the gaming community accordingly. “

These are the services the C-A at present are offering:

  • Banner/logo creation
  • Website designing
  • IRC channel registration/maintenance
  • Clanbase registration
  • Clan-Movie editing
  • Map creation (currently for Unreal Tournament and the Half-Life engine only)
  • Renting & installing clan servers
  • Script creation (Java, PHP, MYSQL, C)
  • Advices and answers to any clan related questions

Some people aren’t experienced with websites, IRC and Clanbase etc. and don’t know what they need to start their own clan. For this, we’ve prepared a 'Basic Package' where you simply select the services you want to notify us with to start a completely new clan. No matter if you’re new or experienced we’ll take care of all of the essential materials of your new clan. And if you have any kind of questions we’ll be happy to provide you with answers either at the IRC channel or at our forum on our website.
