Two new maps and a “large scale” gameplay update coming within the next two months.
ShackNews has received confirmation from Valve that two new Team Fortress 2 maps and a “large scale” gameplay modification are scheduled to arrive in the next two months.
This news follows the company’s previous confirmation that a series of new Medic-specific Achievements are on the way. As such, the aforementioned gameplay adjustment will only affect the Medic class at first.
"It's a large scale modification to the core of the game," said Valve’s Robin Walker. "It'll debut in a limited fashion through the Medic first, but it'll be affecting all classes eventually."
The two new maps are currently only confirmed for the PC version of the game, rather than the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 alternatives. We’ll let you know if and when that changes.
