Get-Well Gamers Expands Hospital Coverage

Home : News : News Story

The charity organisation dedicated to bringing video games to sick kids in hospitals has expanded to 41 hospitals across 14 states, and is calling for product donations.

According to the Get-Well Gamers Foundation,

“Our next step is to see to it that we have the product donations to support our new increased capacity. At the moment, we have nowhere near what is required, but given our track record of success, we are confident that someone will answer the call. With the holidays fast approaching, however, it is crucial that we receive donations as soon as possible.”

These kids are not expecting to play the latest Xbox 360 or PS3 systems. Most consoles donated to the cause are used, older systems such as PS2s, and N64s. Handheld donations such as GBA, DS etc are also welcome. Visit the official site for details on how to help out, and give kids a way to forget about the pain they might be in for a little while during their hospital visit. This is a great cause!
