Microsoft Unveil "Surface"

The mystery product is Microsoft's first touch sensitive computer. The cost? $10,000 a piece.

Bill Gates appeared on the Today Show to show off his new interactive table computer, dubbed "Surface". The Surface computer will be released by the end of 2007. Microsoft initially intends to sell the device to hotels, casinos and retail partners. Eventually, the inventors see this technology being used in the home, on walls, coffee tables and in the kitchen to control a range of devices and perform all sorts of different functions.
