FireSky To Publish Stargate Worlds

All-new publisher set to tackle the upcoming MMO.

FireSky, a newly established video game publisher and subsidiary of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, today announced plans to handle publishing duties for Cheyenne's upcoming MMO; Stargate Worlds.

"We don't intend to be another garden-variety games publisher. We are focused on publishing high quality social gaming experiences online," said FireSky CEO Tim Jenson.

"From a business perspective, publishing is the logical next step for FireSky," said Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations Joe Ybarra.

"We've got the chops to do it and we're assembling a great team here in the desert. I can't wait to get our flagship up and running to show off our operation."

Stargate Worlds is currently scheduled for a late 2008 release, with a closed beta set to launch in the coming months.
