Bring Down the Sky to be offered free of charge on May 28.


BioWare and Electronic Arts today announced that the 'Bring Down the Sky' downloadable content for Mass Effect will be made available free of charge when the game launches on the PC on May 28, 2008.

“Fully optimized for the PC, 'Bring Down the Sky' is the first in a series of planned downloadable content that will further expand the Mass Effect story and universe,” reads today's press release.
BDtS includes an estimated 90 minutes of new gameplay as well as an original soundtrack. It tells the story of Commander Shepard's attempt to save millions of lives from being wiped out by a hijacked mobile asteroid station.
