Gold master status reached ahead of impending launch

Hothead Games today announced that Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One for Macs and Windows/Linux PCs, has gone gold ahead of its worldwide launch later this quarter.

“Penny Arcade Adventures is an RPG-adventure game set in the comic-book-meets-pulp-horror-meets-H.P. Lovecraft deranged 1920s universe of New Arcadia, delivered to gamers via accessible episodic releases,” reads today's press release.

“Players join Gabe and Tycho, the crime-solving team of the Startling Developments Detective Agency, to combat savage enemies and solve mysteries hidden deep in the sinister heart of New Arcadia.”

When the game launches later this year it will b available as a digital download from PlayGreenhous.com for $19.95. An Xbox Live Arcade version will follow for 1600 Microsoft Points.
