Deep Silver today announced that GSC Game World's highly anticipated follow-up to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, entitled S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, is scheduled for a worldwide launch on August 29, 2008.
"The buzz surrounding this game is phenomenal," said Cathy Tische, vice president of sales and marketing for Deep Silver.
"We're excited to let people know that it'll be available here at the same time as the rest of the world."
The game itself, “a survival FPS game for PC based on a 'what-if' scenario of the second Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident,” takes place in 2011, just prior to the events of the original title.
