Iron Lore Entertainment is ready to serve another helping of their acclaimed action/RPG.
Titan Quest was the first offering by relatively new developer Iron Lore Entertainment. The game was released back in June of 2006, and although it wasn't quite the Diablo-killer that some touted it to be, Titan Quest was definitely a worthy diversion for those who enjoy a good action/RPG every now and again. Titan Quest was well received by the press although there were a few snags that held it back from perfection. Most notably of these was the overzealous loot system and players amassing more money than there were items to spend it on.
Well Iron Lore isn't going to come that close to perfection and just give up. Coming during the first quarter of 2007 fans of Titan Quest will be delighted to hear that the first expansion, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne will be available for all to enjoy. With this new edition Iron Lore hopes to rectify any misgivings the original game may have had as well as pile on all kinds of new content.
First of all Iron Lore assures us that Immortal Throne will integrate seamlessly into the existing game. The story picks up right after the ending of Titan Quest and players should have no problem importing their campaigns and characters. There will be 15 hours of new gameplay complete with 3 new Mediterranean level and five regions within Hades. There will also be thirty new quests and level caps will be raised to 75.
