Join a band, play a game of pool, and study one of 11 majors. Ahh, the possibilities are endless!
What's so special? A new Age group will become available, that of a young adult. Your University aged sim will leave his beloved home and take over campus.Back in the days when The Sims was THE game of the moment, we saw a vast influx of expansion packs. The Sims had more expansion packs than any other game. The Sims: Livin’ Large, The Sims: House Party, The Sims: Bustin’ Out, to name a few.
It seems Maxis are not holding back on the expansions for The Sims 2 either. As your sim grows out of their spotty faced, first love teenage years, they’ll be able to experience life in college when the first of many Sims 2 add-ons hits our shelves next month, The Sims 2: University.
A new Age group will become available, that of a young adult. Your University aged sim will leave his beloved home and take over campus. This new found freedom will open the doors to tons more activities, and your sim will act more like a young adult – by pulling childish shenanigans!
Your Sims will explore new avenues of lifestyle, whether it be heading down to the gym, getting caffeine down their necks before an important exam at the coffee house, or plotting ways of swindling their exams and getting flat out A’s.
Because of their new age group, your Sims will be experiencing all-new wants and fears that you would expect from any young adult. You even get the chance to develop their ability to persuade friends and classmates into doing stuff they normally wouldn’t…Maybe even streaking down the park!
There are 11 majors that your Sims can study at university. It’s up to you to choose the right one and keep their grades on track, even if it means cheating! Get the final degree and you’ll open up new career paths for your Sim to follow in their adult life.
To go along with the new options, maxis have included over 100 new objects and décor items into the already broad library. Get your sim practicing on the drum kit in the hopes of joining a band, challenge your mates to a game of pool on the new pool table, or take a group photo with the new camera and hang it on your wall. The opportunities are endless.
