TerraWars: New York Invasion

The playability of Terrawars is fairly decent due to the standard keyboard control system and command options, but reloading your weapons takes so much time that if you have to change out a clip during a fire fight you will take extensive damage from the enemy if you're not killed. There is also a stamina meter included as part of the HUD display, which represents how far and for how long you can move. If the meter hits zero you will barely be able to move around at all until the meter replenishes itself. These two things can easily get you killed, but worst of all many of the barricades you hide behind which are supposed to protect you from enemy fire do nothing at all. It's pathetic.

The only things I found appealing about this game were the upgradeable weaponry and the multiplayer feature, though I doubt that you'll be able to find anyone to play with. Save yourself the $20 this game costs because even at that price it's a rip off. Terrawars: N.Y. Invasion has earned itself the honor of receiving the lowest game review score I have ever given with a dismal 21% and I have a feeling it will keep that title for a very long time.

Highs
Interesting upgradeable weapons.

Lows
Pretty much everything about the game is a low. The storyline is so ambiguous that there might as well not be one. The graphics are dogged by obvious clipping issues, poorly designed character models and a severely flawed physics engine.

Final Verdict
The storyline is non-existent and graphically the game looks like something from the late 90's. Terrawars isn't worth the time or effort.
